Dr Byron Rippke


Dr. Byron Rippke has over 30 years of experience in regulatory medicine.   He currently manages the national program for the USDA’s Center for Veterinary Biologics. This includes all aspects of the regulation of veterinary biological products in the United States including vaccines, bacterins, toxins, toxoids, antitoxins, diagnostic test kits, allergenic extracts, antiserums, and immunomodulators under the authorities of the United States’ Virus, Serum, Toxin Act.

Prior to his career in regulatory medicine, Dr. Rippke was engaged in clinical veterinary practice.   He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University.
